Federation Square Melbourne Employee Engagement
Internal comms doesn’t always have to be serious. In fact, if you’re trying to engage your team or attract new people, it probably shouldn’t be.
This video for Federation Square was built to give a quick, visual snapshot of what it’s like to be part of the organisation. Fast-paced, light, and focused on culture. It’s the kind of piece you can use internally to build connection, but also externally to support recruitment and give people a feel for the place before they walk in.
From a marketing or people and culture perspective, this solves a common problem. You’ve got a great environment, a strong team, but it’s hard to show that in a document or a job ad. Video bridges that gap. It shows the energy, the people, and the day-to-day in a way that feels real.
We mapped out a loose structure ahead of time, but a lot of the best moments came from being on site and responding to what was happening. Walking through the office, capturing interactions, finding those small, human moments. That’s where this kind of video either works… or falls flat.
Shot in a single day in Melbourne, using real staff and real spaces. No scripts. No overthinking it. Just a clear focus on showing the culture as it actually is.
And that’s what people connect with.
