Goodroom x Cult Partnership Video – Assemble Series

Not every video is about selling something directly. Sometimes it’s about telling the story behind it.

This piece was created as part of the Assemble series, designed to showcase the people and thinking behind furniture and design. Focusing on the partnership between Goodroom and Cult, and the development of an in-house collection made with AIN Furniture.

The approach here was simple. Keep it human. Let the people involved tell the story in their own words, and build the narrative around that.

Visually, the film leans into the craft. Materials, process, and the environment where the work happens. Giving a sense of care and detail without needing to over-explain it.

From a brand perspective, this kind of content builds depth. It gives context to the product, shows the collaboration behind it, and helps position the business in a more considered way. Not just what’s being made, but why.

It’s less about features.
More about people, process, and intent.

And when that’s captured properly, it carries a different kind of weight.
